1st place - Green Bay, Wisconsin


The leader in the list of the best places to live was Green Bay - a city in the northeastern part of the USA. It received the highest scores for affordability, taking into account both the cost of living and the level of prices for goods and services. Green Bay residents spend only 20% of the median household income on housing.


Green Bay also ranks seventh in overall quality of life, with particularly high scores for the city's transportation system and low risk of extreme weather events.

2nd place - Huntsville, Alabama


In 2022, Huntsville was the leader of the ranking, this year it took the second position. It is home to many science, technology, engineering and math companies, contributing to a higher average annual salary for local residents.

3rd place – Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina

From 2020 to 2021, Durham's area grew by 1.22% due to net migration, according to the US Census Bureau.
